I don't mind joking around with my co-workers, but sometimes people just get creepy. Must you turn everything I say into a sexual joke? Why do you always have to say hello in a creepy way? Why do you think because I am a woman it is okay to make sexual jokes in front of me? There is a big difference between joking around with me and getting very inappropriate. Well I'm not going to take it anymore, I WILL call you out on your inappropriate behavior.

Diva, Fragrance, & Managing Conflicts

DIVA:
If someone compliments you, accept is gracefully.

A DIVA knows how to take a compliment. DON'T shrug it off or make an excuse. ACCEPT IT... Thank the person, but don't feel you need to make a fake compliment in return. They complimented you for a reason.

JUST accept the compliment. YOU DESERVE IT!!!!! A DIVA always deserve compliments!!!!!

Fragrance:
I finally found a fragrance I love!!!! Cool Water for woman. I wanted a sophisticated and sexy smell, and now I have it. I just have to figure out the perfect amount to apply so that it lasts all day but is not overwhelming.

Managing Conflicts: I had a workshop on Wed morning. The presenter was awesome, she just makes you feel powerful. I have techniques for understanding personality types of those I work with and strategies for dealing with those people.

Catching on & Tis the Season for COLDS!!!!

OH MY, so many people have told me they LOVE getting the Daily Diva emails. This makes me so happy! I want every woman to feel powerful, confident, and beautiful.

The cold is coming, I just know it. I can feel it in my nose, chest, and throat. I have been drinking lots of OJ, bundling up when going outside, I have the mucinex pill ready to go when I need them. It's just so fustrating. When I get sick it always turns into bronchitis or a respitory infection.

Attitude, Diva, & Annoying People

My friend sent me this email and I thought it was wonderful.

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, Looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head. Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?" So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head. "H-M-M," she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?" So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head. "Well," she said, "today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail." So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head. "YEA!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!"

3. Seriously, how many times should I have to explain to someone what my role is at work???? You can compliment me all you want, make plans for me, but I WILL NOT DO YOU WORK FOR YOU. Not now, NOT EVER!!!!!

Confidence and Board

So, things are going pretty good on the board. I put in a motion to purchase a tape recorder in order to take accurate minutes. Once the minutes are approved at the next board meeting I will erase the recorded minutes. We are all working together as a board.

The other night we had a special meeting to inform owners that a well-know bank will be building right next to our property and using our drainage system (which we already have problems with). Certain board members are currently working with the bank and Planning and Zoning Committee to resolve any problems that may arrise in the future.

We were thanked by many owners for informing them and doing what should have been done years ago!!!!

This weekend:..... Practice walking like a model, whether it's for yourself or someone else. Pretend you're on the walkway, practice turning and posing. For an added feeling, wear something that makes you look fabulous. I guarantee you WILL feel like a DIVA.

It is all about attitude. The woman you think is drop-dead gorgeous may not feel gorgeous and could easily find ten things wrong with herself.

While he woman who doesn't not fit "the standard of beauty" may turn heads everywhere she goes because SHE KNOWS SHE IS HOT!!!!!

Oh, wow, I just love being Secretary of the Board. I now know things will be done the right way.

I'm kicking butts and taking names, hee hee


I've been so busy between work and the Board. My neighbor and I cleaned out the clubhouse offices which were once used by management companies (and currently as storage). Maybe we can get the management company to use the offices once again, this would get rid of the rent fee!


I have to find a way to get a little more organized, I truly miss blogging.

Oh, I attended a workshop today and the presenter thought I was 28 years old, how awesome is that? I'm 32, so being told I look 4 years younger is just so invigorating. I started wearing eye makeup again. I need to get back to that "feeling good about myself" place. I need to feel that I still got it. That motivation alone just makes me feel so good. I used to be able to walk into a room and feel that I was the hottest, smartest, sexiest, most irresistible person in the room. I lost that for a bit, but now I GOT IT BACK!!!!!! It works, try it. Walk into a room and say it to yourself, you'll believe it and so will everyone else.

• Each event in my life is a learning moment
• Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the reason isn't clear until years later
