Give-a-way & Can it Get any Worse?????

Check out the Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? GIVEAWAY from Confessions from a Working Mom.  Go over to her site and put your name in.

My son has been so sick see previous post. My dad is retired and watching him during the day since he is too sick to go to daycare.  When I got home from work, Anthony was not doing any better, in fact he was coughing non stop and wheezing so bad.  I called the doctors office and got an emergecny sick appointment for 5:45 pm.

When we finally got to the appointment, Anthony's hands and feet were purple!!!!!!!  I was terrified and could only think of the worst.  The doctor on duty thoroughly checked him out and sent him over for an x-ray.  Thankfully he did not have pnemonia, but has bronchiolitis - which can lead to hosptilization if not treated.  This doctor told me to increase the number of times I give him the nebulizer.

My DH is bringing him back in tomorrow for a follow-up with Anthony's pediatrician. We have a lot of questions...... I am worried that my son will be suseptible to respiratory infections because of this and being 5 weeks premature.  I told DH he is not allowed to leave until he feels he knows what is going on with our son.

Gastro~~~~ doctor update

Thanks Frayspoo, I almost forgot about my blog, been so busy with work and Condo board stuff.

So, I don't go back to the Gastro~~~ doctor until next Tuesday, but I don't care what he says. I think I wasn't getting enough carbs in my diet, I was so focused on eating gluten free, that I was getting sick.

For the past three days I have been having quinoa and two eggs for breakfast (so yummy), when I have sause and turkey sausage I make sure I also have gluten free pasta. I also found a gluten free bread that I love (its rice and almond bread and DELICIOUS. I feel better, I really do. For dinner today I had a few slices of turkey, 1 slice of cheese, and my gluten free bread and it was SOOOOOO YUMMY, and so WHAT I MISSED AND CRAVED.

Even if the test comes back negative, I can still be gluten insensitive, or gluten intolerant. I am glad I am in tune with my body and still learning how to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. In addition I am eating raw almonds, raisins, and lots of fruit and veggies to keep my body healthy and on track.

soooo, now I'm rambling, I'm off to bed to sleep and plan what I will say at the board meeting tomorrow!!!!!! I'll let you all know what happened.

Gastroenterologist?

I had my apppoinment today with the Gastro doctor (as I call him). He had my blood taken to test for Celiac Disease. I will get a call in a few days either way. I have to go back in two weeks, depending on what I have, and figure out how to cure/solve the problem.

Starting tomorrow morning, I am going to keep a food journal, as well as write how I feel during the day after I eat each meal. Hopefully all this detail will be helpful in diaganosing what is wrong with me. I'm just SICK and TIRED of not being able to enjoy eating out or enjoy my favorite meals.

I'm Italian!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE TO COOK ~ This is torture!!!!!!!!!!!!
