Okay....Now Exhale

Its been a long time. Its been a crazy time!!!!

I've been making a lot of changes and there is so much going on.

We decided to change my son's daycare. Nothing happend....the ladies who care for him absolutely love him, they have been with him since he was 3 months old. The day care is near my school, so poor little guy has to travel 35-45 minutes each way in the early morning and afternoon. In bad weather its almost impossible to get up the hill to day care and that is an hour and half of bonding time right out out the window. Plus $250 a week is killing me, we can barely make ends meet.

We had to give four weeks notice, but this is the last week. Now he will be at a daycare ten minutes from our home in. My hubby who works nights will stay with him in the am and drop him off at 11:00. Then I'll pick him up in the afternoon. After my DH drops him off he'll still have time to do things and I don't have to worry about what would happen in traffic or bad weather with him. I can pick up things at the store and not have to drag him out. He will be with babies his own age. Part time will only be $200 a week and maybe even less. If my DH has to work a day shift here and there, I just have to call ahead, as long as I don't go over the 40 hours a week.

We are also switching pediatricians too. The office was also near my job, now its across the street from us. How wonderful its going to be to have the daycare and doctors all near us now. The previous pediatrician was nice, but I didn't like the slowness of the office staff. It took three weeks for them to fill out the medical form for my son to start a new daycare. After numerous calls, they finally filled it out and said that it was easy to do since he's just a baby. Serioulsy, if it was that easy why couldn't you do it sooner!?!?!
